Umno No. 1: Razaleigh says his chances still bright
GUA MUSANG, Oct 25 — Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah said he believes his chances of contesting the Umno presidency remain bright.

There are 123 Umno divisions which have yet to hold their delegates meetings, he told reporters after simultaneously opening the Gua Musang Youth, Wanita and Puteri meetings today.
All 68 of 191 Umno divisions which have met have nominated Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak for the post of party president.

"I've stated from the beginning that I'm only offering myself to contest for the post and at this stage, it is not a contest."

"It is up to the delegates to elect anyone qualified but I am urging the delegates not to be afraid of making a decision because it will determine the party's future," Tengku Razaleigh said.
He needs 58 nominations to be eligible to contest for the presidency.
